In the future, we will no longer use harmful plastic packaging or glossy advertising imprints for our fish feed and will instead use recyclable and compostable packaging material.

A recyclable packaging system is also currently being tested at Aquatikstore.de.

Our new packaging is stand-up pouches that are made from bio-based products and are therefore 100% compostable and biodegradable. Certified according to the European standard EN 13432. These stand-up pouches were made from high quality brown kraft paper with an inner layer and zipper made from bio-based plastic (PLA: from corn starch or sugar beet).

Features of this compostable stand-up pouch are

• made entirely from renewable vegetable raw materials

With this change, Aquatikstore wants to contribute to global climate and environmental protection. After all, it is the content that counts and not the high-gloss packaging.
